At setup, leave yourself a clue. Stored in plain text so it's readable when the key isn't.

Jog your memory
Blank on unlock? Reveal your hint with one click before reaching for reset. Sessions keep running while you think.

Change without losing a thing
Swap the password any time. Every stored credential is decrypted with the old key and re-encrypted with the new one.
The hint is optional and stored in plain text so it stays readable without the password. Choose something only you would understand.
PORTABILITY
Password-derived, therefore portable.
The master key isn't baked into the app. Because it's yours, your credentials can travel with you — no cloud, no vendor lock-in.

Every saved credential is encrypted under your master password.

Only the native Shell View export carries credentials. Importing from MobaXterm, SecureCRT, SSH Config, or CSV brings sessions only — you re-enter passwords on first connect.
